Holland Company Announces Completion and Start-up of Sodium Bisulfite Unit

Holland Company announced the completion and start-up of a new Sodium Bisulfite Plant in Adams, Massachusetts. The plant, commissioned in 2002, initiated start-up this past Spring and has been operating on a full-time basis since July 2003.

A spokesman declined to give plant capacity but indicated it was sized to serve current and future market demand in New England and adjacent Northeastern States.

In addition to Sodium Bisulfite, Holland Company produces a full range of inorganic coagulants sold for water treatment, papermaking and other industrial applications. For more information, contact info@hollandcompany.com.

Holland Company Installs New Chemical Bulk Storage Tanks

To better serve our customers and to improve upon the environmentally safe handling of the bulk chemicals, Holland has completed the installation of new bulk storage tanks.  These new tanks, with an attached, enclosed tanker filling station will allow for a safer and more efficient method of bulk delivery. The new tanks can be isolated to allow for better inventory control, quality assurance and flexibility.

Company Introduces New Products

Due to the increasing need for effective coagulants under a variety of plant conditions, Holland Company has introduced several new Polyaluminum Chloride  / Polymer blended coagulants. These new blends offer the combined advantages of the effective, low cost inorganic alumina based coagulants with  highly charged organic polymers.

Holland Company Offers On –Site Testing Services

With the increasing need for wastewater treatment plants to reduce phosphorus levels to meet the new permit standards, Holland Company is expanding the  jar testing and phosphorus testing services  performed at the plant site by Holland technical sales representatives in the Northeast.  Holland Company has an experienced field support team who can help with selection of chemical precipitation programs to meet the site specific needs of the wastewater treatment market.
